Laundry Cottage Bed and Breakfast Details

Part of one of the few remaining rows of old Northumbrian workers cottages from the 16th. Century. Set in a quiet hamlet of East Horton, but only 10 minuets from the market town of Wooler.

Originally comprising three laundry rooms and an end cottage, hence the name, Peter and Ginia recently completely renovated the cotage to a very high standard, much of it from the ground up.

The cottage is full of character yet remains spacious and practical. Tastefully furnished throughout, floors of slate and wood and Indian and Turkish rugs help to make a cosy and comfortable bed and breakfast.

We are proud to be inspected and selected by Sawday's

Laundry cottage has two bedrooms for let - a king-size bedroom and a twin bedroom that is set under the eves. Two separate private bathrooms - a shower/bath, wash basin and loo across a small landing from the twin room. The second bathroom has a shower, wash basin and loo just seven steps down stairs from the king-size room (bathrobes are provided).

Your stay will start with complimentary tea and home made cake or biscuits. You can sit out in the pretty garden to enjoy the wonderful views on a summers evening and evening mealsare available on your arrival day if you would like. Packed lunches can also be provided.

Ginia enjoys cooking (and is a fabulous cook) - everything is home made and either home grown or locally produced whenever possible. Ginia will be happy to provide dinner on the arrival days if you wish, so that you can relax after your journey.
